Elizabeth's Wolf (Breeds #3)(52)
Author: Lora Leigh

She closed her eyes, feeling him hovering over her, his heat wrapping around her and driving her crazy. What the hell was wrong with her? They had been at this for hours and her cunt was only getting progressively wetter. Her panties were wet, and that was something she just didn’t like at all. They clung to the bare lips of her sex and rasped her swelling clitoris erotically.

“You think they aren’t expecting you now?” His hard thigh was pressed against her mound, one hand smoothing up her leg as he stared down at her. “They were waiting on you at the apartment. Nearly had you that time, Elizabeth. They’re getting wise to you.”

She had realized that then. Her teeth clenched in frustration. Her arousal was making her insane. She could barely think for the pulse in her pu**y. It was a steady driving throb that kept her off-balance as much as he did.

“Okay. Okay. I’ll try again.” She was trying. She was, she assured herself. But every time he touched her she went weak with lust.

Dash moved quickly to her, reaching down and giving her a hand up as she moved into position. She turned her back on him, flexed her shoulders and waited. Sometimes he made her wait forever. Other times it was a quick attack. She could never be certain when it was coming. She tensed, preparing herself.

“Loosen up.” She flinched at his hard, merciless voice. “You’re tiring yourself out waiting on me to attack. Listen, Elizabeth. Close your eyes. You’re in the middle of Grange’s estate, not a safe little cabin. The attack could come from any quarter. You’re ready, but relaxed. You’re listening. Smelling the air…”

“Dammit, Dash, I’m not a Breed…” He came at her then. His arm went around her throat as hers flew up. One hand latched onto his arm at her neck as the other flew behind her going for his eyes. At the same time her ankle wrapped behind his as she moved, jerked, went for a blinding stroke. He went down hard, rolled to his feet and narrowed his eyes on her as he faced her now. A smile lingered on his lips.

“Oh, good baby,” he crooned in approval as she stared at him in shock. “Now do it again. Turn around.”

She backed up instead. How the hell had she done that?

“You’ll be expecting me,” she argued, shaking her head, more than amazed herself.

“I’ll pretend I’m not,” he snapped. “Turn around and do it again.”

“I can’t do it on command.” She shook her head, breathing roughly. “I don’t know how I did it the first time.”

“Then you’re dead,” he said cruelly. “A bloody dead mess, Elizabeth. Let’s call Cassie now so she can start grieving for her mother. Now turn around.”

“I can’t do it again.” She backed away from him nervously. “Let me think about it. Figure out how I did it the first time.”

“No. Turn around.” His eyes were snapping in anger, but that was okay, because his domineering attitude was really pissing her off too.

“I’m not ready.”

He came for her anyway. Before she had time to consider it, she saw the anger, the determination to force something from her and she moved quickly aside, barely evading his grasp. He turned back to her.

“You want to kill Grange?” He grunted. “You can’t kill anyone, Elizabeth. You don’t have what it takes. You don’t have the courage to learn your own strengths, let alone your weaknesses. Grange will take

Cassie, just like he plans to, because we’ll never get those papers and you’ll be dead. He can move right in then, kidnap her at first chance and he has her. No one will be able to save her, Elizabeth. No one. Because you’ll fail.”

“The papers alone won’t save her,” she argued desperately. “A bullet to his head would be more effective and I know how to shoot a gun.”

“Those papers pull his teeth,” he informed her coldly. “We steal the papers, the proof of the experiments, and we expose his plan along with your and Cassie’s testimony on Dane’s death, and he’s gone. Legally. Broken, Elizabeth. You pull the teeth of the monster. Killing isn’t easy. Neither is it always beneficial.”

Fury was mounting inside her. She wanted Grange dead. Wanted him to bleed, to suffer, and he was taking it all away from her.

He came for her again. Rushing her, moving in fast and hard as she dropped to the floor and rolled for his feet. He had taught it to her. He leaped over her quickly, turned for her again but she had stayed down, moved to the side and gone for his feet again. He went down this time and she was instantly on his back, her hands tangling in his damp hair, jerking his head back.

“Next time,” she snarled. “I’ll have my own damned knife.”

Before she could gasp he had a hold of her wrist, pulling her off of him and straddling her body as he slammed her wrists to the mat.

“You hesitated.” His lips pulled back from his teeth in fury. “You gave a warning rather than a killing stroke. Your enemy has you down now, Elizabeth. You’re dead.”

“Am I?” she panted, enraged.

Blood rushed through her veins, adrenaline surging through her system and throbbing in her pu**y. She stilled, tamping it back, relaxing beneath him so suddenly he automatically tensed.

“You’re hurting me,” she breathed, fighting for breath. “We can talk about this, Dash. Really. I’ll do better next time.”

His eyes narrowed.

“I’m tired.” She gazed up at him innocently before her gaze flickered to the hard bulge in his pants. She allowed a smile to tip her lips. “We could play for a while now instead.”

Elizabeth wiggled her wrists beneath his, watching him with lowered lids as she licked her lips slowly, dampening the dry curves. “I’ll make you a very happy man, mate.”

He leaned back slightly, loosening her wrists. Just a little more, she thought as she took a deep breath, lifting her br**sts as his gaze went to them. At the same time she moved her legs, a powerful upswing that sent them around his arms and torso as she jerked back, surged up, put her hands together in a fist and delivered a blow to his lower abdomen.

He grunted. Yes! He fell backward as she scrambled away from him and faced him triumphantly.

But now he was more than just determined. Lust filled his eyes as the thought of her making a surprise move, tricking him, and gaining freedom had fired a hunger he could no longer sustain. The same hunger that had been boiling in the depths of her wet pu**y.
